We are glad to invite you to our next long hike in Summer. It will be in Harz forests in the middle of Germany, exactly in Wieda, Walkenried. Our program includes a hike in the forest, Parties, Workshops, and different activities. 

●        Dates:

o  Full duration:
From Sunday 24.08. @ 11:00 to Sunday 31.08. @ 10:00.

o  First half:
Sunday 24.08. @ 11:00 to Wednesday evening 27.08.2024 @ 17:00.

o  Second half:
Wednesday evening 27.08.2024 @ 17:00 to Sunday 31.08. @ 10:00.

o  The detailed program will be published in the coming weeks.

●      Address:
Bergstraße 49, 37447  Walkenried.

●      Transportation:

          Arriving to Göttingen:

o  FlixBus offers numerous daily journeys from Berlin to Göttingen.

o   DB offers daily Direct Trains from Berlin, Munich and Stuttgart to Göttingen.

o   You can reach Göttingen HBF via regional trains also from Hannover, Kassel and Paderborn. 

          Arriving to Walkenried’s train station:

                 o  From Göttingen, there are multiple regional trains to the closest train station Walkenried

          Arriving to the accommodation site:

o   From Walkeried’s train station either Bus 472 (Wieda Waldstraße) or Bus 470 (Braunlage Schulzentrum).

o   The closest bus station to the accommodation site is Wieda In der Steier, it’s 1 km about 15 minutes walk from our accommodation site.

●      Accommodation:

o  We will stay in a lovely and nice hostel for groups.

o  Sleeping will be on beds in furnished rooms. Please make sure to bring your own bedsheets, pillowcases and covers.

o  The place also offers camping places outside, if you opt in to camp outside, please choose it in the registration form.

●      Registration fees:

o  Full duration: 190 €

o  Half duration: 115 €

o  Children aged 8-15 years pay only 50% of the participation fee. 

o  Children under 8 years for free

o  If you cancel before 23.07.2025, you get 50% of the fees back. 

o  The fees include the food and the stay and reduced membership fees of 15€ for 2025.

●      Registration steps:

o  Filling out the registration form https://forms.gle/CHWityS5uKJ1n1QS7.

o  Waiting to receive an email within one week to confirm your registration.

o  Transfer the fees to the bank account which is written in the confirmation mail within the period specified in the confirmation.

●      Important note:

o  Registration is personal, and it is not allowed to register for more than one person with the same email address.

o  The registration starts on 13.06.2025, and it will be closed when we reach our limited participants number.
